You may have spotted a gentle face on the back cover of each book — a real photo of a young girl. She’s my Thai niece (well, great-grandniece, to be exact), and we live in Thailand. Some time ago, she lent her spirit to a story we created called Jeweled Dreams — a fictional diary, gently woven with threads from her own life.
We chose not to use her real name. Instead, we called her “Pasara,” a Thai word that means “like a diamond.” Fitting, really — because her 24 stories shine with quiet beauty and hidden worth.
Come walk beside Pasara as she opens a window to her world — one filled with wonder, heart, and the voice of a girl discovering life.
